Every week unveils a new captivating theme, inviting children to embark on exciting adventures through storytelling, music, creative crafts, interactive activities, and plenty of playtime. Not only does it provide an avenue for socializing, but it also lays a solid foundation for their transition into preschool come fall. Snacks are also included! Tentative Summer Camp Daily Schedule:
​
9:00-9:30: Welcoming Playtime- Children can put away their things and begin free play with a variety of toys, games, and puzzles.
​
9:30-9:50: Circle Time- We will go over the theme of the week, the focus of the day, our learning chart (date, days of the week, months of the year, rhyming words, etc.), sing songs, and recite our poem of the week.
​
9:50-10:05: Theme Based Activities: Part 1- We will do fun, hands-on activities that integrate the theme.
​
10:05-10:10: Movement- The children will participate in a movement activity to go along with our theme.
​
10:10-10:20: Snack Break- Snack provided by Mrs. Emily unless you'd like to bring your own.
​
10:20-10:30: Outside Time- We will spend some time outside to play and explore and get our wiggles out.
​
10:30-10:40: Storytime- An engaging story will be read that goes along with the theme of the week.
​
10:40-10:50: Music/Movement- Kids will participate in a music/movement activity such as playing instruments and/or rhythm sticks, balloon games, musical chairs, or parachute fun.
​
10:50-11:05: Craft- We will create something to take home that encompasses the theme.
​
11:05-11:20: Theme Based Activities: Part 2-We will do more engaging activities that include the theme.
​
11:20-11:50: Closing Playtime: Children will free play together again.
​
11:50-12:00: Clean up/Goodbye-We will clean up and gather our belongings and reunite with parents.
​
*Thursdays from 11:15-11:45, we will play in the splash pad outside in the backyard (weather permitting).
